Beverly Blouin

Beverly has been teaching in the Atlanta area for almost 30 years and has taught singers of all abilities and all styles of music. Her training as a vocal pedagogist is mostly centered on the classical style, believing classical singing is a great foundation for all styles of music.

Ms. Blouin's students have been accepted to and received scholarships to schools such as New York University, Oberlin, San Fransisco Conservatory, Florida State University, The New School, and the Manhattan School of Music.. She teaches singers with careers on Broadway, professional singer songwriters, and nationally known opera singers. Beverly is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

Beverly's performing credits range from solo appearances with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Opera, to the Alliance Theater, Horizon Theater, Theatrical Outfit, to Libby's Cabaret and Eddie's Attic. She is a two time regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera's Young Artist competition and a featured soloist in the Decatur New Music Festival. Blouin is a unique recitalist/ lecturer and a jazz singer who has performed across the Southeast.

Kristin Markiton

Kristin Markiton is a classically trained, extremely versatile singer with a wide vocal range and the uncanny ability to perform virtually any musical genre or vocal style. As a musical theatre singer/actor, she has worked with many of the professional theaters in the Atlanta area, including Aurora Theatre, Horizon Theater, Actor’s Express, Jomandi Productions, Theatre in the Square, and Atlanta Lyric Theater. She won the Suzi Bass Award in 2017 for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Francesca Johnson in Aurora Theatre’s production of Bridges of Madison County and was nominated again for the same award in 2018 for her portrayal of Donna Sheridan in Aurora’s production of Mamma Mia. Kristin has performed with The Atlanta Opera Chorus and Studio, and has served as the soprano soloist at Decatur Presbyterian Church in Decatur, GA.

As a recording artist and songwriter, Kristin has released two full-length studio albums; her debut solo album, Wandering Moon, produced by Kristian Bush of Sugarland, and Howlin’, recorded and released during her collaboration with the blues-rock band, Delta Moon. She is a much sought-after vocalist for professional demo recording sessions, commercial jingles, and has appeared as guest vocalist on countless recording projects with other performing songwriters.

Kristin has performed with many of Atlanta’s top party/wedding bands during her 23 years here in Atlanta, including Lilac Wine, Big Mike Geier and his King-sized Band, Rupert’s Orchestra, and The Mike Veal Band. She is currently front-woman for The Moxie Band and her own blues/soul band, Kristin & the Honey Badgers. She also performs the role of June Carter in Gray Sartin’s Johnny Cash Now Tribute Band.

Ms. Markiton holds a current GA teaching certificate with over 10 years of experience as a Special Education and Elementary Music teacher in public schools. Though she can sing and coach virtually any genre or vocal style, her voice instruction is firmly grounded in the Italian classical style with the goal of helping students explore and enjoy their own unique voice in the healthiest way possible. She has studied voice with Beverly Blouin, Irene Harrower and Walter Huff.

Nanseera Wolff

Nanseera is a Kampala/Atlanta-based singer-songwriter with an old soul and a distinctive style. The London born performer grew up in Uganda and Ethiopia, moving to the United States for high school and university. All her travels and adjustments bring a nuanced worldview into her music. Taking inspiration from artists like Tracy Chapman, Lianne LaHavas, and Sheryl Crow, Nanseera weaves together poetic stories of losing home, love, and sense of self, then somehow finding them again. Nanseera released her debut album American Odyssey in 2022. The project loosely follows her road trip with friends and a journey of personal discovery. After going on her first solo tour In 2024, she released her single Colours.

Nanseera studied Modern Artist Development and Entrepreneurship and minored in Songwriting at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. She has also played multiple times at Eddie’s Attic. She has competed in (2018) and judged (2024) the Eddie’s Attic Songwriter Shootout. Nanseera has had a lot of experience cowriting and giving feedback to songwriters at a wide range of levels and has a passion for helping people explore their emotions, ideas, and experiences through the process of crafting songs.
